OPEN INTERVIEW

We are a subsidiary company that incorporated 12 January 2004 as a special purpose vehicle to manage and operate the concession activities at Northern State. We are seeking progressive, dedicated and well rounded team players with positive work attributes to fill the following position:

TIME : 9.00a.m - 4.00p.m

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT

1. EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT (Location : Head Quarters /Alor Setar / Kulim)
Responsibilities
• To identify and evaluate the most effective communication media in order to enhance the Company’s image and services
• To coordinate, monitor and control all donations allocation/distribution of the Company
• To assist in planning, overseeing and implementing corporate branding for the Company
• To maintain an effective and good relationship with the media owners, public sector and clients
• Assist in the preparation of the article / articles for publication Workers Bulletin / Recyling Newslatter.
• Review current news related to the company published in local newspapers
• Make a newspaper clipping and provide weekly reports to the Company
• Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department / Corporate Relations Executive / Senior Officer from time to time.

Requirements
• Degree in Mass Communications or equivalent.
• At least 2 years relevant experience especially in journalism and/or public relations.
• Experience in any Media company will be added advantages.
• Good report writing, interpersonal & communication skills
• Good knowledge of Solid Waste Management

2. ASSISTANT / CLERK – DATA ENTRY, CRM (Location : Head Quarters)

Responsibilities
• To build up good relationship and handle customer enquiries, complaints tactfully and in efficient manner.
• To guide and provide practical assistance to customer in providing solutions any complaints.
• To build and maintains relationship with all at management level in the entire department.
• To ensure that all customer correspondence (faxes / e-mails / letters) are handled properly on a timely basis.

Requirements
• Strong analytical skills with excellent communication (written & spoken), negotiation and interpersonal skill.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines, under pressure, multi-task in fast paced and intellectually demanding environment.
• Positive, highly disciplined, team player, proactive capabilities and results orientated
• Minimum experience 1 year / fresh graduate also welcome


FLEET ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

3. SENIOR TECHNICIAN / JUNIOR TECHNICIAN (Location : Alor Setar, Kulim, Kangar, Baling)

Responsibilities
• Conduct vehicle audit on standard tools, cleanliness of vehicle , fluid levels
• Ad hoc audit on vehicle as to determine driver awareness – pre inspection and post inspection.
• Assign job to internal repairer as per vehicle complaint defect
• Receive complaint from driver and prepare job order to internal repairer
• Monitor repair status and report status in daily vehicle report.
• Prepare technical report
• To record vehicle defective complaint and record in vehicle history file.
• Quality check on the repair done before assigning to the drivers.
• To plan service maintenance schedule
• To make sure internal repairers follow to the service maintenance schedule.
• Prepare consumables stock report , fuel report , vehicle daily report, cost report, vehicle history report,
• Evaluate internal repairer job completion status and advice the management.
Requirements
• Minimum Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical or Transport Management
• At Least 2 - 3 years experience and exposed to maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment
• Practical experience in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and major repairs
• Experience in privatization/takeover will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of repair and maintenance, transport/equipment management

4. WELDER (Location : Alor Setar, Sungai Petani)

Responsibilities
• Responsible to perform set-up, fit-up, layout and welding as per required processes.
• Maintenance of welding materials and equipment
• Conduct inspection and repair on all Leach bins
• Prepare repair schedule and planning work repair
• Record all repair bins and monitor
• To weld and repair all damage bins
• To repair bins back to operational condition
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/ “A” Level/Pre-U or Certificate in Mechanical skills.
• Possess a Trade Certificate on Welding
• Basic Welding & Basic MIg & TIG.
• Tested on 6G position and passed GTAW & SMAW processes will be added advantages.
• Experience in repaired heavy vehicle using Gas & Arc Welding.



QUALITY IMPROVEMENT & TECHNICAL AUDIT

5. EXECUTIVE / ASSISTANT (Location : Head Quarters)
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the overall planning, coordination and implementation of the Internal Audit Department annual activities within the company.
• Perform financial and operational audits throughout the district to provide Management and the Board of Directors with objective analysis of activities.
• Develops annual audit plan, identifying areas of potential internal control exposure and areas for improving operational efficiency.
• Review staff audit work papers and reports to ensure appropriate documentation and support
• Prepares quarterly status reports for Board of Directors.
• Serves as a consultant to management staff on internal control and operating issues.
• To plan develop and exercise the approve SOP for proper internal control and to continuously review whenever necessary.
Requirements
• Possess a Diploma or Degree in any related areas.
• Minimum 2 years of Quality Management experience.
• Preferably specializing in audit or equivalent.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience in External & Internal Quality Audit Programme.
• Sound knowledge and experience in ISO 19000 Quality Management System.
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Must be proficient in both written and spoken English
• Experience in privitisation/takeover will be an added advantage
• Strong leadership qualities, good interpersonal and strong communications skills










MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM

6. EXECUTIVE, GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) (Location : Head Quarters)

Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, implement, monitor and control GIS system and development.
• Set goals, schedule and manage resources assigned to GIS projects.
• Source and negotiate with vendors in order to select appropriate hardware and software.
• Manage IT organization resources to endure the hardware and software are properly maintained and their operation is optimized.
• Ensure that delivery of system meet the pre-determined standard and comply to stipulated IT policies and procedure.
• Ensure that management is updated on the progress of GIS projects giving explanation for project delays and recommending measures of rectification.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Geographical Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge in ArcGIS Development (ArcEngine + ArcGIS Server), Autocad GIS Development (MapGuide, Map 3D), GIS Open Source S/N Dev/Prototyping will be added advantages.
• Interested on GIS Application development.
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Must be proficient in both written and spoken English
• Experience in privitisation/takeover will be an added advantage
• Strong leadership qualities, good interpersonal and strong communications skills
